Sexual assault and abuse can happen anywhere, including online spaces. Harassment, cyberbullying, sexual abuse, and exploitation have come to be common behaviors online. It is important to build safe online spaces by practicing digital consent, intervening when we see harmful content and behaviors, and promoting online communities that value respect, inclusion, and safety.
Part of the work of ending sexual assault, relationship violence, and gender-based discrimination is to raise awareness of what a healthy relationship looks like. Qualities of healthy relationships include mutual respect, open communication, honesty, trust, support, and equality.
Peers on Wellness and Wellness and Prevention Services strive to make this campus a fun & safe community. Take a moment to think about how you can help contribute to making this campus a better place and end sexual or relationship violence at Babson.
