Feeling stressed or overwhelmed from all of the responsibilities that you have on campus? As Babson students, having a busy schedule is a right of passage. Even though classes, clubs and internships keep you busy, it’s important to take a few minutes out of the day to practice self-care and relax.

Here is a breathing exercise that is easy to implement into your fast-paced lives. It’s quick, and requires minimal effort. You can even do it in public without getting weird looks.

The 4-4-4-4 (or Square) Breathing:
Breathe in while counting to 4.
Hold your breath while counting to 4.
Breathe out while counting to 4.
Do this sequence 2 more times, or as long as needed.
