Brrr! It’s that time of year again! Leaves changing color, weather getting colder, and pumpkin spice taking over the world. Fall has finally arrived! It’s a great season to try something new, especially while here at Babson. Here are a few ideas to get into the spirit of Fall:
- Apple Picking: Take a ride to Belkin Family Lookout Farm, only 20 minutes away from campus! Besides picking apples, spend time with friends and taking cute pictures!
- Walk around the Charles River Esplanade: Take the T into Boston and explore the Esplanade or Boston Commons. They are perfect places to take a break and enjoy a classic New England scene.
- Pumpkin Carving or Painting: Take your pick… painting or carving. Get a group of friends to go pumpkin picking or buy some from the grocery store. Arts and crafts are a great escape from the stress of school!
- Watch Halloween themed movies: It can range from horror movies like Halloween or cute ones like Halloweentown! It doesn’t matter which you choose, just one that sparks the spirit of Halloween!
Sure, these suggestions sound a bit silly, but that’s what makes them fun! It can be stressful to always be in study mode…take a break and try something new!
