Each month, POW will be highlighing interns that are currently working in Wellness and Prevention Services. We wanted to thank them for all of their hard work!

Casey Frederick Clinical Graduate Assistant

Casey is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Behavioral Health at Boston University. Here at Babson, she is interning with Ashleigh Hala in Wellness and Prevention. She has the opportunity to work alongside the POW students on projects, as well as meeting with students individually. She is super excited to be a part of the Babson College community this year!

Fun facts about Casey: I have a 9 month old puppy, and I love taking him on nature walks. One of my favorite things to do is visiting local coffee shops! I love the atmosphere of a small town business and seeing the unique character that it brings to the area.

Rachel Nyakako, Clinical Graduate Assistant

Rachel is currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work with a Trauma informed focus at Simmons University. She has a background in bodywork and meditation and has done trainings in somatic body based healing. Being a first generation American of Afro- Caribbean descent she strives to reconcile and celebrate the different parts of her ancestry, upbringing and forge her own identity while cultivating resilience along the way.

Fun facts about Rachel: In her free time, she sings, hikes and bikes.
